Serpent Invocation artwork created by Glenn Thomson
Background created by Rage Nation Apparel
This piece was inspired by the buddhist deity Mucalinda, a snake-like being, who protected the Gautama Buddha from the elements after his enlightenment. The Sri Yantra bloom in the center is representative of opposites coming together, upwards and downward triangles representing masculine & feminine energies coalescing. The Buddhas eye symbolizing omnipotent awareness and compassion. The breaks in the serpent body represents how despite breaks in the path to enlightenment, the energy is unwavering in it’s course.
